the UNITED NATIONS
(by Mail or E-Mail)

Sponsored by Americans For Open Records (AmFOR),

THE UNITED NATIONS IS LISTENING!!

The UN has many ongoing projects, called "Mandates," headed by "Special Rapporteurs" (Reporters). Two of the Mandates deal specifically with:
•  "DISAPPEARANCE OF CHILDREN" and
•  "SALE OF CHILDREN"
which also address the taking of children by CPS or private individuals or agencies for ADOPTION and to which we've been inputting data to the UN as AmFOR's contribution,
•  "SALE OF CHILDREN FOR ADOPTION"

DO YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT ABOUT A RELINQUISHMENT OR ADOPTION OF A CHILD OR ABOUT PROBLEMS INFLICTED ON AN ADOPTED CHILD, ADULT ADOPTEE, OR PARENT?? If so, you can do either or both of the following:

(1) CLICK HERE to add your comment to our ONLINE PETITION which we perdiodically mail all new comments to the UN's "Sale of Children for Adoption" report.

(2) You can also use the sample FORM LETTER and INSTRUCTIONS (below) to address your concerns in more detail to the United Nations, directly!

At the bottom of this page you'll find Links for further information as to what is being done or proposed regarding Rights of Adoption Affected persons and we urge you to PROTEST efforts being peddled as "the Right of Every Child to Have a Family" by those actually seeking to INCREASING ADOPTION ABUSES in the U.S. and Europe (web page and video) at http://poundpuplegacy.org/node/13940

Prior to reporting anything to the United Nations, it is preferable to gather and provide copies of all pertinent records available, if any, such as public Court records, public Vital Records, Blocked Records (meaning names may be blackened or whited out) or Sealed Records that may require a Court Order for access. (A Court Order may be requested by simple Petition.)

Many states have a State Freedom of Information Act (or it may be called a Public Records Act or Law, or similar) which you should cite in your request for State-held or County-held records. If you seek Federal Government-held records, cite the Federal Freedom of Information Act. Determine the name of the Custodian of Records to whom you can address your request, citing your State Freedom of Information Act, if any, for a specific state-held or county-held record. If you are first Denied access to a state-held or county held-record, address your Complaint to the Custodian of Records to appeal the Denial. Some states have a designated body for government records oversight, such as New Jersey's Government Records Council whose Custodian of Records, together with Council members, makes a determination based on your Complaint.

Address your Report of Human Rights violations to either "SALE OF CHILDREN" (to which AmFOR made its Report on "SALE OF CHILDREN FOR ADOPTION") or to "ENFORCED or INVOLUNTARY DISAPPEARANCES" projects of the UN Human Rights Commission, whichever is appropriate to your complaint.
